Kenya Institute of Development Studies is a middle-level training institution founded on a strong belief of capacity through imparting practice knowledge and skills to spur economic and social growth. 

We believe in admitting qualified students, delivering excellent training, remain relatively affordable and produce all-round graduates who are able to respond to challenges we are facing as a society.

KIDS Is Fully compliant with all Government and other academic requirements in our republic. Our Government accreditation and approval number is MST/PC/1003/2006.

We are an authorized Government examination centre Number 401073 (KNEC).

We have launched our documents with various local universities and other institutions of higher learning for affiliation and collaboration purpose.

Kenya Institute of Development Studies has put in place strict control measures to ensure high-quality services; this measure includes:

1. Constant training and refresher training sessions for all facilitators to ensure they are kept updated and informed of current trends in development.
2. The institution has established definite goals that ensure low errors in training.
3. There are extensive staff involvement and participation in the development of teams where awards are given on team performance.
4. There is a quality service review with a view of continuous improvement every semester.
