Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirements for the diploma in textile technology course are:-
- Pass in relevant Craft Course, or;
- KCSE Mean Grade C- (Minus), or;
- Equivalent qualification approved by KNEC.
Objectives of Textile Technology
The diploma in textile technology course deals with the application of scientific and engineering principles to the design and control of all aspects of fibre, textile and apparel processes, products and machinery. After this course one will be able to judge the fabric quality and the machinery best suited for it.
The course emphasizes the development of the technical man power required at various levels and by different sectors of the textile industry.
