Word of Faith Community College

The Word of Faith Community College is a registered non-profit making vocational training (TVET) college located opposite Word of Faith Church in Kiambu- Kenya (Ruthiru-ini side).

It is a project of Word of Faith Church headed by Bishop Dr. Thomas Muthee. The Word of Faith Community College is a non-profit making vocational training (TVET) college located opposite Word of Faith Church in Kiambu- Kenya (Ruthiru-ini side).

The Word of Faith Community College is registered by the Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology.

The Word of Faith Church under Bishop Thomas Muthee realized that there was a growing population in our community who drop out or who don?t do well in school, while the fees required in many colleges may not be easily raised by a significant proportion of people in our society, forcing them to remain with no skills that can help them make a living. Some of these unfortunate youths are then tempted to turn to crime or turn to early marriages etc. because of a lack of hope. Even if we continue evangelizing, something additional needed to be done.

The Word of Faith Community College started in May 2008, with the goal of helping to alleviate poverty and raise the standards of living in our community by offering these youths highly subsidized training in hands-on skills, and empowering them to start their own businesses.

Mission: Alleviating poverty in the community through equipping unemployed youths with vocational skills, and empowering them to start small-scale businesses.
