Gretsa University is duly registered and accredited by the Commission for University Education and admitted its pioneer students in September 2006.

Gretsa University - History
Gretsa University admitted its pioneer students in September 2006 after receiving the Letter of Interim Authority from the Commission for Higher Education in May 2006.
The University began with three pioneer degree programmes in Business, Computer Science and Hospitality Management. These have continued to attract students from various parts of the world.
The second lot of degree students graduated in December 2011. Several diploma and certificate groups have also graduated over the years. In pursuit of its objective of being a professional quality-driven institution, the University has continued to expand its facilities and to develop new and relevant academic programmes that are designed to meet the needs of society.
The University has positioned itself well to play its role and offer its contribution in the world of reputable institutions of higher learning.
