Gatanga Technical Vocational College

Gatanga Technical and Vocational College is located 26km from Thika Town along, Thika Ndaka-ini Road where you take a diversion at Ndunyu Chege town. 150m from junction to the institution.

Gatanga Technical and Vocational College was constructed through funding by the GoK and Gatanga NG ? CDF  under the mentorship of Murang?a University.

The institution was completed in 2017 and handed over to Michiuki Technical Training Institute to oversee its management until August 2017 when the principal was posted. The college first trainees were admitted in January 2018 in the following courses craft in electrical engineering, ICT, mechanical, plumbing, and hairdressing. 

Gatanga Technical and Vocational College is a centre of excellence in Mechanical Engineering having received Mechanical production equipment, computers and furniture?s which were supplied to the institution in January 2018 through the Government of Kenya. 

The college is located 26 km from Thika town along Gatanga - Ndakaini road.
