Printing Technology is one of the fields in engineering courses which deals with printing press operations, design and creation. At present, printing technology is non-impact and mostly makes use of computers.
Printing technology students learn how to reproduce text and image, typically with ink on paper using a printing press. The course is solely dedicated to the management of the jobs concerned with printing in a printing press.

Entry Requirements
The Minimum Entry Requirements are:
- KCSE Mean Grade D (Plain), or;
 - Pass in a relevant Artisan course, or;
 - An Equivalent qualification approved by KNEC.
 
The duration for the course is two (2) years which includes a compulsory industrial attachment.
This program is examined by KNEC at the end of the two years training period.
