Opposite Chief’s Camp at the former Uthiru Nursery School.

INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT
At Uthiru Vocational Training Center Students must go for an Attachment during their training so that they can have a work-based experience providing them with a real-life organizational context for them(students) to develop specific or generic skills, valuable to their professional development.

GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING
At Uthiru Vocational Training Center we help individuals discover and develop their educational, vocational, and psychological potentialities and thereby to achieve an optimal level of Professionalism, personal happiness, and social usefulness.

At Uthiru Vocational We also offer research-based training in that students can carry out research in their courses independently and with an open outcome. This helps the joint acquisition of new knowledge by Instructors and Students.

Uthiru Vocational Training Center - History

Uthiru Vocational Training Center  was the first Vocational Training Center  to be established by the County Government of Kiambu under the leadership of
H.E. The Governor William Kabogo Through the Ministry of Education ,ICT,Culture and Social services.

First Intake

Registration of students for the first intake started on February 2015 and learning officially started on February 16th 2015; Since then,learning has been taking place smoothly
