Daughters of Mary Help of Christians College is a vocational and technical school that allows students who have had problems or have been rejected in primary or secondary schools learn a trade and be trained in life skills, increasing their employability for a productive social-labour inclusion.
Likewise, once they have finished their technical training, our students can continue their studies.
Most of our students come from economic and social disadvantage and lack of basic knowledge. In these cases, Technical School performance as a second opportunity school.
The different trades in which our students are trained are:
- Hairdressing and Beauty therapy (cosmetology)
- Knitting
- Tailoring and dressmaking
- Chef
- Waiter
- Receptionist
Incorporated in each area of study are Entrepreneurship education, Life Skills, Creativity, languages, IT and learning support subjects.
And as a result, more than 90% of those students who get the certification find a job in their field of studies or put up their own businesses.
