The Academy of Graphic Technologies (AGT) was established in by the Graphic Art Industry to bridge the gap between individuals talented, with a background in art and design and passionate about the graphic design profession, and the ever-changing and demanding industry.
The Academy of Graphic Technologies (AGT) opened its doors to its first set of students in 2000, by the publishing, packaging, printing and multimedia industries in East Africa to meet their training needs.
AGT is accredited by BTEC / Edexcel UK with awards recognized worldwide. It is also TVET Accredited and recognized by NITA.
The Academy of Graphic Technologies (AGT) based in Nairobi, Kenya. AGT is owned by Kul Graphics and is located within its industrial compound. The environment and the ambiance is conducive for creative students to excel.
Accreditation: The college is accredited by BTEC - Edexcel International to deliver their level 3 extended National diploma programs in Art and Design. It is also TVET Accredited and recognized by NITA.
Methodology: Teaching aids include over 70 Macintosh computers, printers, scanners, overhead and video projectors, library facilities and access to the internet. The college provides most of the stationery needed for computer studies.
Environment: the college is conveniently situated in Kul Graphic industrial complex on Maasai Road. It boasts a friendly and conducive environment with parking facilities and a cafeteria.
Opportunities: Since its inception, AGT has churned out into the graphics industry over eight hundred students from various walks of life. They range from school leavers and professionals or sponsored individuals.
Over the years The Academy of Graphic Technologies (AGT) has developed constructive relations with the local graphic business community, this goodwill opens excellent opportunities for industrial attachment and employment for our graduates.
Upon completions of our courses, our students have been absorbed by the job market or have moved on to pursue further education.
