About MASTER OF SCIENCE IN FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Masters program.

The Department of Food Science and Technology in the University of Nairobi offers a Master of Science Programme in Food Science and Technology with option in either Food Science or Food Technology. The Programme consists of a year of coursework followed by a year of individual research leading to a thesis.

Entry requirements for MASTER OF SCIENCE IN FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

1.      The regulations for the Degree of Master of Science by coursework and thesis in the Faculty of Agriculture in the University of Nairobi shall be applicable.


2.      Candidates must have at least an Upper Second Class Honours Degree or its equivalent in Food Science and Technology from a recognized University.
