The School of economics at the University of Nairobi has an outstanding research capacity. Areas of capacity concentration include development economics, health economics, environmental and resource economics, macro economics, trade and finance, industrial and enterprise economics. The School also maintains close interactions with the School of Mathematics, Institute of Development Studies, the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, the World Bank, the International Development Research Centre, the Central Bank of Kenya and the Ministry of Finance among other strategic institutions.


 

Entry requirements for MASTER OF ARTS IN ECONOMICS

1.      Holders of at least an Upper Second Class Honours degree in Economics;


2.      Holders of equivalent degrees or qualifications from other universities recognized by the Senate of the University of Nairobi.
