Entry requirements for Bachelor of Science in Informatics

To enroll into the Bachelor of Science in Informatics degree program at Strathmore University, a student requires:

  • KCSE B with a minimum of B both in maths and English
  • KACE certificate with a minimum of two principal passes, and a minimum of a Credit Pass in Mathematics at KACE.
  • Candidates seeking to do Bachelor of Informatics are required to sit an General Entrance Examination (GEE), which shall consists of: Mathematics, English and finally an Oral interview.

Applicants should report to the University by 8.00 a.m. on the day of the interview and should bring:

  • Three (3) passport-size photographs
  • Original and photocopies of all relevant academic and professional certificates
  • Copy of the National ID/ Birth Certificate/ Passport ? Entrance Examination fee of Kshs. 600.

Interviews are held on every Tuesday and Thursday.
