Entry requirements for Bachelor of Arts in Geography

To be accepted for the Bachelors of Arts in Geography programme at CUEA, a candidate requires:
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with the minimum mean grade of C+ (Plus) And a minimum grade of C in Geography and D+ in mathematics
OR
A Principal pass in the A-Levels in the Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (A-Levels) or GCE A-Level or the equivalent Kenya Advanced Certificate of education with a minimum of 2 principal passes or the equivalent
OR
A Diploma social work from a recognized institution or the equivalent

Bachelor of Arts in Geography Course Subjects

Depending on the prospective students qualifications the Bacheor of Arts in Social Sciences (Anthropology) at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa can be either a four year programme, three year programme.

Four Year Bacheor of Arts in Geography Programme.
Students shall register for four core courses in geography and courses from two other departments.
In the first year, students shall take two common courses, four courses in geography and three in each of the other two departments.
In the second year, students shall take two common courses in geography and four courses from each of the other two departments.
In the third and fourth years, students shall take six courses each year in geography and four from the other department in each year.
