Applied Physics is a bridge between pure Physics and Engineering.
Applied Physics & Computer Science degree programme at Multimedia University, integrates the application of
Physics in Computer Science. It combines Physics principles in solving
various Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) problems by
using hardware and software related applications.
A degree in Applied Physics and Computer Science is useful in seeking a
career in environmental science, consulting, industry, government,
research, or publishing in positions that require strong experimental,
analytical and calculation skills.
Minimum Entry Requirements
- KCSE mean grade of C+ with a minimum grade of C+ in Physics/ Physical
Science, Mathematics and in either Chemistry, Biology/ Biological
Science or Geography OR
- A-Level two principal passes and one subsidiary
pass in the relevant subjects OR
- Relevant diploma from an institution
approved by the University Senate
