Pan Africa Christian University (PAC)

Pan Africa Christian (PAC) University is a Fully Accredited Private University in Kenya that offers quality education and imparts its students with godly values and practical skills that will adequately prepare them to serve the community effectively.

Having satisfied the requirements of the Commission for Higher Education (Now Commission for University Education- CUE), PAC University was granted a Charter on Friday, February the 15th, 2008, by H.E. Hon. Mwai Kibaki, C.G.H., M.P., President and Commander-In-Chief of The Defence Forces of The Republic of Kenya. The University is fully recognized under the Kenyan Laws (CAP 210B), and therefore authorized by the Government of Kenya to confer Degrees.

Currently, all our graduate and undergraduate programs (Bachelors, Masters and PhDs) are approved by the Commission for University Education (CUE).

PAC University Objectives:

• To provide university-level instruction in higher education for Christian faith and practice;
• To prepare for the churches of Africa: mature, committed, and conscientious ministerial leaders to serve with competence in ministries of the Church;
• To equip students for Christian service in positions of leadership and activity in various Christian ministries and secular vocations;
• To develop and transmit knowledge and skills through research and training at university level;
• To further preserve, develop, produce, process, transmit and disseminate knowledge, and thereby stimulate the spiritual, religious and intellectual life and cultural development of Kenya and Africa at large;
• To play an effective role in the development and expansion of the African Church and its leadership.

Specifically, we desire to develop in each student:

• A vibrant, growing relationship with God;
• A sound evangelical theological foundation, based on understanding of the historical background and context of the Bible, proper methodology of Biblical interpretation and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit;

Over the years, PAC University has consistently re-written its story by scaling the heights of hard work, team spirit, resilience, and excellence. We are driven by the quest to be better today than we were yesterday, with our confidence being drawn from the revelation that God's grace is sufficient for us. Our core business at PAC University is to offer Quality Education to our students and imparting them with godly values and practical skills that will adequately prepare them to serve effectively. We do this by integrating theoretical learning with practical job skills through engaging qualified industry experts who have relevant experience as part of our faculty. To further demonstrate our commitment to quality education, we have ensured that all our Graduate and Undergraduate academic programs are approved by the Commission for University Education (CUE).

History was made in September 1978 when the first classes were held in what was known then as Pan Africa Christian College and we have been making history ever since.

Originally founded as a Bible College, the University was built on the site of the former Lumumba Institute (Current Thika Road Campus), along Lumumba Drive, Roysambu. 

With the changes in the Higher Education sector in Kenya, the College grew to a point where it was Chartered as a Private University by President Mwai Kibaki in February 2008.  With the Charter came the change in name to Pan Africa Christian (PAC) University. 

Over the years, PAC University has grown in terms of the academic offerings, with over thirty-five (35) courses currently on offer. Important to note is that all our graduate and undergraduate courses are approved by the Commission for University Education (CUE).

The university is owned and managed by robust partnership of three stakeholders: Christ Is The Answer Ministries (CITAM), the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC), and the Pentecostal Assemblies of God Kenya (PAG).
